It may be Monday, but it was also launch day for the election report, so that helped! I got to work super early. I was told we were leaving by 8, but it wasn't until about 8:45 or so. One of the reasons we were late was because of the number of people we crammed into the van. I think there were two rows of four and two rows of three—it was cozy. Hello everybody! I didn't do a post yesterday and then very nearly forgot to do one today, but I remembered and here we are. I'm afraid there weren't any trips or adventures this weekend, just a couple of lazy days in Kampala; not "lazy" as in unproductive, but rather just being content to relax and do what I felt like doing. In a radical turn of events, I am writing this blog pre-dinner, which is highly unusual. I didn't feel like cooking again tonight, and besides which it's a Friday, so I decided just to order food. There's an app in Uganda which let's you order from a ton of different restaurants, for a very small delivery fee. I went with what I know, so there is (hopefully) a quesadilla on its way, courtesy of The Little Donkey. ...

Today is the 23rd of June, which means that I have officially been in Uganda for an entire month. Seems like just yesterday I was standing in the bathroom watching the water tank explode. Where did all that time go? Sometimes, I'll realize I've been here a month and I'll think, wow that went by fast! And then other times, it feels like I've been here for ages and ages and it couldn't possibly go by any slower. Strange, right? ...

Today got off to a very, very slow start. The morning was horrendously boring at work. I was also exhausted, but that's my own fault. Just as I was getting into bed last night Osgoode sent an email saying the courses for next year had been released, so I proceeded to spend an hour looking at those. My short list currently has more credits than I'll need to take in my entire time at Osgoode...I've got some decision-making to do! ...
