Hungary Photos

After last summer in Uganda, I think I have some form of blogging-PTSD. As it turns out, writing about every single day for twelve weeks can really turn you off the whole idea altogether. It's been well over a year since I returned from that trip and I have posted exactly once in that interval. Even worse, as of today it's been exactly two months since I left Canada for Europe, and I haven't even posted anything about that! Still in recovery, it seems.

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on who you ask), I am still not here to fill you in on these last two months. That's a daunting idea at this point. Plus, I'm a slow writer and it would take me hours and hours and hours. No, this post is just a quick update to let you know that I have added a new gallery with photographs from my trip to Hungary.

It would be reasonable to assume that I have been to Hungary at some point in the last two months. As much as I would have liked to, these photos are from the summer of 2015. Yes, that's more than two years. Honestly, it's a wonder I get any photos edited at all. I've been chipping away at these very, very slowly, but I finally finished earlier today. Check them out and let me know what you think.

Getting these photos finished and posted seemed like a victory, but the celebration didn't last long. I still have quite the backlog to get through, starting with my photos from Vienna, which I visited just after Hungary. So yes, still dealing with stuff I shot more than two years ago. After I get Austria out of the way, I can finally move on to the photos I took in Uganda. I'm really excited about those, actually, but if I don't do this chronologically I'll never go back to the ones I skip, so they have to wait. After Uganda I have photos from my trip to Dublin last Christmas. And finishing those will bring me—finally—to my current adventures in Europe.

It'll take ages, but I'll try to go fast. Certainly faster than it took to finish these Hungary photos.

Anyway, that's it for now. Just wanted to let you know that I'm still alive and still working on photos. Believe it or not, I'm even committed to posting on this blog still, assuming the right inspiration hits.

Hope you like the photos from Hungary!
