Uganda Days 26 & 27: French Spies and Rainy Saturdays

It was strange not posting a blog yesterday, but as I'd anticipated, there really wasn't much to tell you. The most exciting thing was going out for lunch with a couple of other Canadians in our building. One is an expat and York grad who works full-time at one of the other organizations here, and the other is a York student doing an internship. The four of us went to The Little Donkey, which I've written about once before. ...

Uganda Day 25: On Good Reads and Bad Ones

Uganda Days 19-22: A Weekend in Sipi Falls

I'm back! I tried my best to post this on Sunday evening, but by the time I got back it was already quite late, and as you're about to find out, it's a long one. Better late than never!

Friday

If I had to describe my Friday in one word, that word would probably be hellish, followed closely by horrific and abhorrent. To say that this weekend got off to a bad start would be an understatement in the extreme. It really began on Thursday. ...
