I slept in a little bit this morning, then got ready and headed down to La Patisserie for a coffee and a cheeky almond croissant. Today at work we opted to go out for lunch instead of having it there. My supervisor drove herself, Aliana, and I to a place called "Great Burger." They sell burgers. Were they great burgers? I mean, at the time it was. I'm always starving by the time lunch rolls around. I'm sure I'll be going back to Great Burger often, since it's right around the corner from work and from my house. ...

I've only got time for a relatively short one tonight. There's significantly less time in the day now that I'm spending 9 hours of it at work!

Speaking of which, I started my internship at the Foundation for Human Rights Initiative today. I can't say it was the most exciting day I've ever had...we spent most of the time reading through a few reports and things that they've published over the past few years. ...

There isn't a great deal to report today, because very little happened. First of all, the good news: they came with the new hot water tank and installed it and, so far, it hasn't blown up. Tonight's shower will be the real test. If this thing starts spewing water everywhere again, I don't even know what I would do. ...
